Sending Metadata

First of all: Thanks a lot for this library! There definitely is a need for a C++ Port of FastMCP.

I know this feature comes technically in 2.13.1 "Sending Metadata", but is it already possible in some way with the current setup? And before I go ahead and fork your library to implement this - are you planning to upgrade to the next version here in the near future?

Thanks for pointing this out. I am working on this. I will try to add what's missing the Python version, as this port follows the Python features.

No need to implement this, I am working on it. I will message back and you can verify / test in a day or two.

So far, I have plans to keep fastmcpp up to date with fasctmcp.

This has been addressed in PR #5 (merged as commit 70f6b39).

The Client API now supports the meta parameter:

• call_tool(name, args, meta) - pass metadata directly
• call_tool_mcp(name, args, CallToolOptions{.meta=...}) - via options

Please pull the latest main branch and test. If this doesn't resolve your use case, please open a new issue with specific details about what's not working.
