[Bug]Clumsy login 3box due to outdated MetaMask/web3 API

when tried to login w/ Metamask (MM) you will see the following notif (warning on outdated API)

1. Go to 3box.io
2. Click on login - w/ MetaMask
3. super slow, click on MM icon
4. See error
