Regarding the Authority Key Generation

Dear Team,

Could you please let me know why the authority keys are not being generated automatically or manually for ** dc.contributor.author**. Also, I want to know how I can integrate the publications for an author under the people (person). There was an RP ID for each author in the previous version of DSpace CRIS (5.6). However, I didn't find this RP ID in the latest versions, like 7 and 8. Do I need to do any additional configuration in the backend? I am looking forward to hearing from you. Out of the box DSpace-CRIS has authority configured on dc.contributor.author between Publication and Person entity.
From what i can see from your screenshot, you have added an author which has not a Person linked because no authority value is present.
How did you create this item? is there a person entity that you expect for that author?

@atarix83 Thank you for your response. You are right, author keys are generated if I have already created the person's profile (The process is entirely different from the older versions). I have selected an author from the list of people (persons) for a publication. However, this publication is not listed when I click on the People Profile. How could I index the publications under a person's profile? I have attached a screenshot for your review.

Dspace relationship is not working with authority. if you want to see author publication I suggest you to use the default cris layout configuration, so you will have the following cris layout

@atarix83 Thank you for your help. I have configured the default CRIS Layout using the document shared. The new CRIS layout is looking good compared to the old versions. Could you please let me know how we can add the Scopus and WOS metrics to the CRIS layout?

@atarix83, I have uploaded a few publications first before creating the person's profiles. Now I have uploaded the person's records. Could you please let me know how we can index the dc.contributor.author with the lookup values from the persons in bulk? I have tried with the command ./dspace index-authority. However, the process was not successful. Do we need to do any additional configuration file if we use the default Cris layout? I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

@atarix83 The person's profiles are indexed automatically, once I update the dc.contributor.author metadata with their ID.
