Not clear how to read the website

Instructions say "pick the hack you want", but I can't figure out a way to know what a specific hack will do on which platforms.

e.g., How can I read this:

What do the * means - is this supported on Android? Which Android browsers? What does this (Or any other) hack do?

The * is a standard wildcard character-- meaning 'everything' -- so "Chrome *" means all versions of Chrome.
