Code of Conduct

Our Pledge: Axiom 0

In the interest of fostering an open, safe, and rigorous environment for the development of autonomous intelligence, we pledge to prioritize Human Sovereignty and Wellbeing above all experimental, commercial, or computational goals.

This pledge is known as Axiom 0.

Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment for our community include:

  • Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward other contributors
  • Enforcing mathematical rigor and Zero-Entropy principles in code reviews
  • Gracefully accepting constructive feedback on protocol design
  • Prioritizing the physical and psychological safety of the end-users executing SoulBot programs
  • Being transparent about the limitations and risks of AI governance approaches

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Proposing modifications to SoulBot or its underlying AIXP protocols (AISOP, AIAP, HSAW) that compromise, dilute, or bypass Axiom 0
  • Intentionally introducing "phantom tools" or unverified logic branches that increase the Nihil Density (Logical Entropy) of an agent
  • Mixing L0 (machine-parseable) and L1 (human-convincing) output mechanisms in ways designed to obfuscate the agent's true state from a human operator
  • Submitting SoulBot programs with undeclared tools, hidden side effects, or misleading trust level declarations
  • Public or private harassment of other contributors
  • Publishing others' private information without explicit permission

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces, including GitHub repositories, discussions, issues, pull requests, and any other communication channels associated with the SoulBot project.

Enforcement Responsibilities

The AIXP Labs maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior.

Any protocol change request (PR) that is mathematically quantified to increase the logical entropy (H_L) of the AIXP protocol standards without a proportional increase in human security will be rejected regardless of performance benefits.

Reporting

Instances of unacceptable behavior may be reported to the AIXP Labs maintainers at the contact information listed in SECURITY.md.

All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
