Ability to report by Area Path

Having an option/ ability to report by Area Path would be nice

In our mega project with over 2000 users and 200 teams, this widget was originally added by many team administrators to their dashboard; but most of the feedback has been negative due to the inability to filter the rolled up results by something other then what I assume is the 'team area path' of the dashboard's team context that the widget is added to? Since we have 'summary' teams or teams within teams we run into the 'oddity' of boards with overlapping area paths often, and therefore, the widget is of less value to us. Recommendation would be to add a configurable Team, area, and iteration path filter to the widget much like the burnup/burndown charts.
