Why use Qwen2.5 instead of Qwen2.5-Instruct or Qwen3?

Hi, I wonder that why do you use Qwen2.5 instead of Qwen2.5-Instruct or Qwen3 in your paper. Is it a convention? Or does Qwen2.5 base model perform better than others?
