Image rotate needed

Many of my pictures open rotated 90 degrees. Other apps I have display them correctly. I expect exif data is misinterpreted or not interpreted. However I could not find a way to rotate it back. So there are probably two problems to report:

1. incorrect exif
2. Image rotation tool absent or hidden

I just stumbled upon QuickEdit, and it's (almost) really perfect for what I need! First of all thanks a lot for this fine piece of software :-)

However, it apparently lacks rotating. It would be really cool if rotating was added. It would be already enough to be able to rotate in 90° steps. With this added, it really would be perfect as a pre-processor for sharing an image in a chat etc.

Would you consider adding this?

Another addition to this: Apparently, the app currently actually does lack proper EXIF handling. When I take a photo using it, all photos taken vertically appear rotated by 90°, whereas all photos taken horizontally appear as expected.

So, initializing the photos with the correct EXIF rotation would be nice, as well as a possibility to rotate them, at least in 90° steps.

I'd just like to ping this feature request again: Is there any chance we may get rotation?

QuickEdit would be the perfect supplement to do basic image processing for images to send via Matrix – as both Element (X) and FluffyChat lack image processing. But without rotation, one has to stick with way heavier apps like Image Toolbox or less convenient ones like Fossify Gallery.

It would be really, really cool if rotating images was added :-)
