Issue Details

I've learned about https://whale.naver.com/en/ and its extension store https://store.whale.naver.com/extensions/new this morning. NAVER is from what I can tell a reasonably large South Korean tech company.

Not a lot of non-South Korean extension makers have submitted their extensions there yet, so I think there's a decently large market for AdGuard MV2 Browser Extension to tap into.

I have indeed also been able to test its MV2 sideload support, which it indeed supports, with this screenshot as proof:

https://help.whale.naver.com/en/desktop/store/#i-5 imply that the submission process is not overly difficult, but NAVER is not doing themselves much favour by making the extension upload site at https://whale.dev/ Korean-language-only.

Proposed solution

Add AdGuard MV2 Browser Extension to NAVER Whale Store.

Alternative solution

None that I'm currently aware of.

(I'd put a veto on submitting AdGuard MV3 Browser Extension, at least to the extent the OP of an issue report would be in any sort of position to veto that).

Unless they have already closed themselves to accepting fresh MV2 (following the example of the Chrome store, from 2023 onwards no new add-on could be submitted for signature), you can also easily get banned for dynamic IPs outside the South Korean pool (for example, they reject my applications with a scan of my Polish ID card).
