New Test Failures Detected (April 24)

The following tests are newly failing in the test suite:

• formatRelativeTime > should format relative times in agents output
• benchmarkTokenEstimation > meets performance target
• benchmarkPatterns > benchmark average is reasonable

Audit result: this appears fixed/obsolete in the current checkout (955de903 on main).

Evidence from the local audit:

• The formatRelativeTime test is now deterministic because the test freezes time.
• benchmarkPatterns still exists and passes its current threshold.
• The old benchmarkTokenEstimation test from this issue no longer exists in the current test suite.

Verification:

• Focused run passed: vitest run packages/cli/src/cli/lib/formatting.test.ts packages/utils/src/precompiled-patterns.test.ts => 2 files, 69 tests passed.
• Current root run also passed after rerunning with local listener permission: 79 files passed, 1 skipped; 959 tests passed, 5 skipped.
