miniscope v4 software crash

Hi,

I just assembled a miniscope v4 and DAQ 3.3 purchased from openephys. When I connected the miniscope to my computer, the software briefly connected to the miniscope, turned on the LED, then generate warnings "miniscope retrieve frame failed, Attemping to reconnect, as the attached screenshot shows). Then it crashs after several seconds (crash time could be as short as immediately after I open the software, or as long as 20 seconds after repeatedly showing the warnings)

I have tried to update the DAQ firmware (which was successful as the Cypress USB controller software showed). But it does not solve the issue. I have been successfully connected to the camera for once. I suspect it is a connection problem between the scope and the coax cable, any suggestions to further pinpoint the bug or what else I can do in terms of software are appreciated!

Hello, I have a few questions for you in order to help with this issue

1. Which firmware did you use to flash? The DAQ that ships from OEPS already comes with the latest version so there is no need to update it yourself
2. When you connect the Miniscope to the DAQ, and the DAQ to the computer, do the three LEDs turn on on the DAQ?
3. Have you tested your coaxial cable with a multimeter in continuity mode to ensure that there is no short circuit between ground and the signal?
