Editing the contraption in map view crashes to desktop

Controllinator 0.7.0, game version 2.0.23
When in the map view, pressing the button to edit the combinators that are part of a contraption causes a crash to desktop with this error:

The mod Controllinator (0.7.0) caused a non-recoverable error.
Please report this error to the mod author.
