Hey @tvdeyen, thanks for the feedback.

I just had a look but not sure I was able to find the false positives you mentioned. I found and opened marcoroth/herb#1700 as we shouldn't be looking at generator templates until we properly support those, but other than that the offenses looked legit.

You can set a version key in the .herb.yml so that new rules don't get enabled automatically if that's what you were referring to, but this was only introduced in v0.9.3.

There's also a new --upgrade command that can be used to bump the version key to the latest version and disable all rules that aren't passing yet: marcoroth/herb#1484

Both of these features are designed to ease upgrades, so I'd love to know if those don't work for your use-case here. Thank you! 🙏🏼
