Accelerometer placement

From Teams chat: For the surgery, we don't place the accelerometers, only the accelerometer holder (M22-7130342, Harwin). After aligning the skull, it goes on top, but without any anatomical reference location. Usually we only keep track of orientation (usually vertical following the anterior-posterior axis, or horizontal following the medial lateral).

For each session the accelerometer device is placed on the head of the animal, attached to the holder. We have used both wired and wireless accelerometers. They have all been manufacturer by the Champalimaud Foundation Hardware and Software Platform. I'm not sure they have model numbers, but they usually use the nomenclature of "WEAR - wired" v2.1 or v3.0 and "WEAR - Wireless" v2.1 and v3.1. They both connect to a WEAR Basestation, via a cable or wireless. Base station is connected to a computer.
