Description
A board will always show the "No Status" column by default. And setting the filter to hide only this group keeps resetting every time you change the status property. Remove this group entirely by not allowing an empty status is one solution.
Default values for templates are implemented: #7296. But there is no default value for a property, which could also work together with the not allowing an empty status, but it is not required.
Impact
Minor annoyance that quickly becomes a hassle for setting up a project, which might make the onboarding experience bad and therefore new users might give up altogether.
