Change type of parameters for page tables

Hi Sebi,
in c004223 AAX sind die Parameter “Nr. of Bands” und “Sync to Channel” (noch) kontinuierliche Parameter. Sie müssten aber stepped/Diskret sein. Es sind ja nur 5 bzw. 4 definierte Positionen, die sie einnehmen können.

@sewastl What information is this based on? Internally both these parameters are integer/discrete. How does Pro Tools determine that these parameters are float/continuous?

@ni-hah Does GetNumberOfSteps() currently return zero?

I haven't found anything in JUCE that would let me set NumberOfSteps by hand for the AAX build, I assume it should set that automatically for integer parameters (which both nr of bands and sync channel are).

What I did find is that both these parameters are set to automatable(false), perhaps this makes JUCE report 0 number of steps.

If I make a build with automatable(true) for both parameters, could you check if that changes anything?

The parameters which have only two states come up as they should (Allow Reverse Patterns; Master Bypass, Mutes, Proximity Solos and Zero Latency).

Thanks for checking. I need to dive deeper into how juce interacts with the AAX SDK, not sure if I'll be able to get this fixed for the v3.0.0 release.

Has this ever worked with a previous version of PolarDesigner?

It wasn't implemented in the previous versions, as far as I know. I double checked with the old page tables I wrote vor the old version, which were never integrated. It's the same.
So maybe it is something for V. 3.0.1

According to what Anthony Nichols from JUCE told me, the plugin isn't using the page file right now. Shouldn't be too hard to implement though.

Note to self:

Need to override getAAXClientExtensions() in AudioProcessor to return a reference to custom AAXClientExtensions.
