Tested it on real maps, it makes almost no difference in before and after state. But it makes sense, so I will merge. Thanks for the contribution. |

Description
Changing width exponent calculation to decrease with every iteration. This was originally the intent here, but got lost during the typescript transition.
If the constant exponent is intended, this PR can be closed.
