Running BEAST

Now run BEAST and when it asks for an input file, provide your newly cre-ated XML file as input. BEAST will then run until it has finished reporting information to the screen. The actual results files are save to the disk in the same location as your input file. The output to the screen will look something like this.

Note that there is some useful information at the start summarising data and model specification, such as the genetic code, codon usage, codon frequencies by usage, and the of equilibrium codon frequencies, etc.

At the end, an operator analysis is printed. The detail can be learnt from the "Running BEAST" section of Divergence Dating Tutorial with BEAST 2.2.x.
