Given the last commit was more than five months ago, what is the status of this repository? Are there plans to continue development? Feedback appreciated as we use the plugin in a production app.

I think it's safe to assume that will be no more maintenance on this project (maintainers, I'd be happy to be proven wrong!). Since this seems to be by far the most popular plugin for geolation, does anybody have long-term plans of creating+maintaining a fork?

I created a request to integrate the plugin with fluttercommunity. Maybe that's a good path to take?
