Release Schedule

I was wondering what the release schedule ist for this project:

I would like to use the current trunk as it has some bugfixes and the security-related quick_xml version bump. However, the newest version on crates.io is still 1.5.2. Is there a timeline when a new version will be released?

Also more generally: What does the release schedule look like? At least roughly. :)
