Bituncoin Wallet - User Guide

Welcome to Bituncoin Wallet

Your comprehensive cryptocurrency wallet for managing digital assets, trading, making payments, and more - all in one secure platform.

Getting Started

Supported Platforms

Bituncoin Wallet is available on:

  • iOS: Download from the App Store
  • Android: Download from Google Play
  • Windows: Download from bituncoin.io
  • macOS: Download from bituncoin.io
  • Linux: Download from bituncoin.io
  • Web: Access at wallet.bituncoin.io

System Requirements

Mobile (iOS/Android)

  • iOS 13.0+ or Android 8.0+
  • 100 MB free storage
  • Internet connection

Desktop (Windows/macOS/Linux)

  • 4 GB RAM minimum
  • 500 MB free storage
  • Internet connection

Setting Up Your Wallet

1. Installation

Mobile:

  1. Download the app from your app store
  2. Open the Bituncoin Wallet app
  3. Accept terms and conditions

Desktop:

  1. Download the installer from bituncoin.io
  2. Run the installer
  3. Follow the setup wizard

Web:

  1. Visit wallet.bituncoin.io
  2. Click "Create Wallet"

2. Creating Your Wallet

  1. Click "Create New Wallet"
  2. Set a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
  3. Important: Write down your 12-word recovery phrase
    • Store it in a safe place
    • Never share it with anyone
    • You'll need it to recover your wallet
  4. Verify your recovery phrase
  5. Complete the setup

3. Security Setup

After creating your wallet, enable security features:

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Click "Enable 2FA"
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  4. Enter the 6-digit code to verify

Biometric Authentication:

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Enable "Biometric Login"
  3. Scan your fingerprint or face
  4. Biometric login is now active

Managing Your Portfolio

Viewing Your Portfolio

Your portfolio shows all your cryptocurrency holdings in one place:

  • Total Balance: Your total portfolio value in USD
  • Individual Assets: Each crypto with its balance and value
  • 24h Change: Price changes in the last 24 hours
  • Performance: Overall portfolio performance

Adding Assets

  1. Click the "+ Add Asset" button
  2. Select the cryptocurrency
  3. Enter the amount you own
  4. Click "Add to Portfolio"

Supported Cryptocurrencies

  • BTN (Bituncoin)
  • GLD (Gold-Coin)
  • BTC (Bitcoin)
  • ETH (Ethereum)
  • USDT (Tether)
  • BNB (Binance Coin)

Sending and Receiving Crypto

Receiving Crypto

  1. Go to the "Receive" tab
  2. Select the cryptocurrency
  3. Your wallet address is displayed
  4. Options:
    • Copy Address: Tap to copy
    • Show QR Code: Display QR code for scanning
    • Share: Share via email or messaging

Sending Crypto

  1. Go to the "Send" tab
  2. Select the cryptocurrency
  3. Enter or scan the recipient's address
  4. Enter the amount
  5. Review the transaction details
    • Amount
    • Fee
    • Total
  6. Click "Send"
  7. Confirm with 2FA if enabled
  8. Transaction sent!

Transaction Status:

  • Pending: Waiting for confirmation
  • Confirming: Being processed by the network
  • Completed: Successfully sent

Using the Exchange

Exchange Cryptocurrencies

Swap one cryptocurrency for another directly in your wallet.

  1. Go to the "Exchange" tab
  2. Select "From" cryptocurrency
  3. Select "To" cryptocurrency
  4. Enter the amount
  5. Review exchange details:
    • Exchange rate
    • Fee (typically 0.5-1%)
    • Amount you'll receive
  6. Click "Exchange"
  7. Confirm the transaction

Crypto-to-Fiat Exchange

Convert crypto to traditional currencies:

  1. Select your cryptocurrency
  2. Choose fiat currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)
  3. Enter amount
  4. Choose withdrawal method:
    • Bank transfer
    • Payment card
    • Mobile money
  5. Complete the exchange

Viewing Exchange History

  1. Go to Exchange → History
  2. View all past exchanges
  3. Filter by:
    • Date
    • Asset
    • Type

Payment Cards

BTN-Pay Cards

Get a Visa or MasterCard connected to your crypto wallet.

Creating a Card

  1. Go to "Cards" section
  2. Click "Create New Card"
  3. Choose:
    • Virtual Card: For online payments
    • Physical Card: For in-store purchases
  4. Select card provider:
    • Visa
    • MasterCard
  5. Set daily spending limit
  6. Complete verification
  7. Card created!

Using Your Card

Virtual Cards:

  • Use for online shopping
  • Card details shown in the app
  • Copy card number, CVV, expiry date

Physical Cards:

  • Ships to your address in 7-10 days
  • Use at any store accepting Visa/MasterCard
  • Contactless payments supported

Top Up Your Card

  1. Select your card
  2. Click "Top Up"
  3. Choose amount
  4. Select funding source (wallet balance)
  5. Confirm top-up

Card Transaction History

View all card transactions:

  1. Select your card
  2. Go to "Transactions"
  3. See detailed history with:
    • Merchant name
    • Amount
    • Date and time
    • Status

Merchant Services

For Merchants: Accept Crypto Payments

Setting Up as a Merchant

  1. Go to "Merchant" section
  2. Click "Register as Merchant"
  3. Provide business information:
    • Business name
    • Business type
    • Contact email
  4. Complete registration

Accepting Payments

QR Code Payments:

  1. Create payment request
  2. Enter amount
  3. Generate QR code
  4. Customer scans and pays

NFC Payments:

  1. Enable NFC on your device
  2. Create payment request
  3. Customer taps phone to pay

Mobile Money:

  1. Select mobile money option
  2. Customer enters phone number
  3. Customer completes payment on phone

For Customers: Paying Merchants

  1. Scan merchant's QR code
  2. Verify amount and merchant
  3. Confirm payment
  4. Payment sent instantly

Security Features

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Adds an extra layer of security to your account.

Setup:

  1. Settings → Security → 2FA
  2. Install authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy)
  3. Scan QR code
  4. Enter verification code
  5. Save backup codes

Biometric Login

Quick and secure login with fingerprint or face recognition.

Enable:

  1. Settings → Security → Biometric
  2. Follow device prompts
  3. Scan fingerprint or face
  4. Biometric login active

Backup Your Wallet

Create Encrypted Backup:

  1. Settings → Security → Backup
  2. Click "Create Backup"
  3. Choose backup location
  4. Backup encrypted and saved

Restore from Backup:

  1. Settings → Security → Restore
  2. Select backup file
  3. Enter backup password
  4. Wallet restored

Fraud Alerts

Receive instant alerts for:

  • Large transactions
  • Suspicious activity
  • Unusual login attempts
  • Address changes

Managing Alerts:

  1. Settings → Alerts
  2. Customize alert preferences
  3. Choose notification methods:
