Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The current search experience is limited to the Explore page and only supports searching for DAOs. This makes it difficult to quickly find other important content across the platform, such as profiles, proposals, votes, auctions, coins, etc. As the protocol grows, users need a faster way to discover and navigate the app without manually clicking through individual pages.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to see a more universal search experience where users can type one query and find relevant results across multiple parts of the platform. Ideally, search would be available from the main navigation, and results could be grouped by category:
- DAOs
- Profiles / users / addresses
- Governance activity (Proposals and voting)
- Auction activity
Describe alternatives you've considered
Another option would be adding separate search inputs to proposals, profiles, auctions, and other pages, but that creates a fragmented search experience. A global search would be more useful because users would not need to know where to look before searching.
Additional context
A good example of this is the search experience on http://nouns.game
- changes to subgraph necessary
- expose them on the frontend
