Yes I have a local branch where I'm testing with the beta api, hopefully using the api will fix the issues Ive had with scrapping.

Im using it as an opportunity to tidy up the mediux class, so v0.5.0 will be a big update, hopefully the only user changes should just be the need for Mediux apiKey

Going forward I don't think there will be many more updates to the main branch of this project, the original version scrapped the site and was flaky at best.
The mediux-api branch aims to fix all this as I can better link between the tmdb-id of Mediux and the media server.
The Mediux team is still working on getting their API into production, until they do I wont be merging the mediux-api branch and cutting a new release.

If you'd like to use this before then, you can install it via pipx:
pipx install git+https://github.com/Buried-In-Code/Mediux-Posters.git@mediux-api
pipx install git+https://github.com/Buried-In-Code/Mediux-Posters.git

You'll also need to update your settings toml, see the README for all the details. To get a Mediux token head on over to their discord.

Just a heads up that the API does not have access to the main website for now, it accesses a snapshot, so newer posters won’t be available until a more recent snapshot is created or the API gets access to the main website

I grew tired of the annoying updates on the main branch, so while the API isn't yet released, I've gone ahead and merged the mediux-api branch. I'll cut a release when the API goes live
