SyntaxWarning: invalid escape sequence

When testing pixi environments, the following warnings were produced from the cerberus package (and sometimes benchcab) when running benchcab --version for recent python versions:

Python 3.10.19 and Python 3.11.14:

$ benchcab --version

Python 3.12.12:
