Victor's development branches should be reviewed against the validated 1.0.0 baseline before any changes are brought into the maintained codebase.

Proposed Work

• Identify and preserve the relevant branches and revisions.
• Record authorship and known validation status.
• Compare each branch with the 1.0.0 baseline.
• Create an inventory of fixes, features, refactoring, and scientific changes.
• Reproduce and review changes to scientific results.
• Identify overlap with current development.
• Port approved changes through reviewable pull requests.
• Add tests for every retained change.
• Record rejected or superseded work.
• Preserve attribution and provenance.

Done When

• Relevant branches and revisions are preserved.
• Material changes are represented in an inventory.
• Scientific-result differences have been reviewed.
• Only approved changes are integrated.
• Every retained change has suitable tests.
• No branch is merged as an unreviewed code dump.
• Attribution, compatibility changes, and rejected work are documented.
