The pdb2pqr package on conda-forge is outdated and doesn't provide a python API. Currently, invoking the pdb2pqr part of the pipeline informs users that they should install a newer version, such as the package on pip. In the long term, I don't want require pip or install pip packages as part of the installation. I have opened an issue on the pdb2pqr issue tracker but I'm not sure if it's still being actively maintained. If it's not, then I'll probably have to remove this feature in the future.
