2-Monitor Toogle, don´t stop by shutdown (Wayland) and different sizing&position

1. Cairo-Dock (3.6.2) switches monitor by changing vom x11 to wayland. To correct this, there is a curious choice
   a) Monitor 0 - top right
   b) Monitor 1 bottom left
   the result is bottom 0 to bottom 1, for my o.k. by surprise

2. shutdwon Wayland-Sessions Cairo-Dock produce error (could not stopped), after that in X11 it only can be start manual

3. the different sizing and position of Cairo-Dock between X11 and Wayland is a great handicap. Possible to add different settings for the GUIs?

But, beside this - Cairo Dock is a great dock for more usability

Hi,
thanks for reporting and apologies for the delay in responding.

1. I believe that the mapping of monitors is a bit arbitrary (also I did not do that many testing with multiple monitors), so this is a limitation -- although I'm surprised about the issue with positions, those we should get from GTK. I'll try to find some time to do more tests with multiple monitors and come up with a better way to manage them.
2. Which Wayland session are you using? (Is it this one?) Also do I understand correctly that the problem is that if you log out and log back in to an X11 session, Cairo-Dock will not start automatically? Could you check that if you run

systemctl --user show-environment

in the X11 session, does it include a WAYLAND_DISPLAY variable? This should be unset when logging out
3. Do you mean that scaling is different between X11 and Wayland? I have a plan to add an environment-specific scaling factor, but haven't been able to decide how to best do it yet.

I have a draft for the scaling issue in #251 -- main parts of the UI are scaled properly, however, there are some additional parts that are not handled yet, so will need to work on it a bit more. However, if you are able to test, any feedback would be very welcome. Thanks!
