Screen Recording freezing on MacOS

Description

Recently, all of my screen recordings have been freezing(both in the editor and exported file). In earlier versions, it used to freeze in the editor only but not in the exported file. This happens for even shorter recordings as short as 10s.

Reproduction

I just started recording a simple 10s recording on studio mode. Happens for every recording in this version.

• Cap version: 0.3.83
• Operating system, version: MacOS Sequoia 15.5
• Device (optional): Macbook Pro M4 Pro 48GB RAM

Same issue here. Recording starts counter counts from 3, 2, 1, and gets stuck on 1. Never starts on M1 MBP.

Same issue here. I start to record and the screen is frozen. It captures my cursor and camera, but the screen is static the entire recording.
