We can achieve higher uniformity, but lower speeds, by reversing the fan. However, the results are highly fan type specific as we do not have rated airflows for fans in the upwards direction....
We can approximately bound the effective airspeeds however, based on the lab testing, but it will be a quite large range (e.g. +/- 50% depending on fan type).
