Can the control system inform the occupant that if they keep out for another x minutes, there will be a 99.9% disinfection?

it would be interesting to think of this but maybe in the next generation of the work, if there is more funding.

Sure, pretty simple and very hard at the same time.

Pretty simple since I could send a message every minute to the participant via Telegram to update him about the status. He would however, block the Bot after one hour. On the other, hand how can we send a message in a smart way that inform the user? To do that we would need to read his mind and send a message only when he decides to go back 😄 .

The issue is that if we rely on the beacon signal, we would need to send a telegram message as soon as the beacon is detected, but that would probably be not quick enough since he will have already entered the room. A better approach is to develop a website which shows the disinfection status, but will people check that? People are quite lazy, and it would take some time to develop the website.

What about something more basic like, we know that about 5 minutes leads to a good enough, if not perfect, disinfection. So, if ceiling lights are on, and 4 minutes have passed with lights on, then occupant is sent a message to come in after a minute?

we can do that but then if the participant leaves his desk five or six time per day he will receive the same number of messages. And only in very few scenarios this info will be useful since for example when he goes for lunch or leaves he will not come back in within 5 mins. To be honest I have noticed that people and even myself get annoyed about all these continuous notifications we receive and I would avoid them if possible,

I think for the great majority of the people would be enough to tell them not to go back for 5 minutes, they will be happy so they take longer breaks and we do not need to bother them. If they really need to go back to complete a task or to pick up something a message will not stop them.

An app would be good so they can check how much time has passed, but for this application is a bit of an overkill.
