Invalid format for X-Auth-Key header

I know this is a super old repo, but thought I would try posting issue anyway as it looks like a nice Dashboard Widget. Upon activation, with API key & email, the following error is reported:

Unable to connect to CloudFlare :: Invalid request headers - Invalid format for X-Auth-Key header

@louiswalch well its been a long time since I looked at this one 😄

I just check my system and it is working. Just doing a quick google on that error, it seems like the most common cause is an invalid API key being entered.

It looks like CloudFlare has also enhanced the API section quite a bit since this was developed so the instructions might not be clear. The value should be the "Global API Key" value from the API Tokens screen.

Ohh, I was trying an API token rather then the global one. Shouldn't they be the same thing, with the token just having more targeted permission? The API token worked fine with Cloudflare's own plugin, but they don't have dashboard reports.

They added the concept of tokens after I developed this, so I'm not really sure what the exact difference is. I did see several other repos with that issue reported which say to use the Global API key so they must not have like for like functionality.

That's too bad. This is a multi-site Cloudflare account, I don't think the client would be comfortable exposing their global API key. As it has control over all sites within the account.

That was a problem with the old global API key system, probably why they moved to tokens. Unfortunately it looks like it would take redevelopment to get it to work with tokens now.
