Description

The only bit people really care about is the active games which is 5-10% of the screen and in order to view any information about the game, you need to mouse-over it.

I like the idea. And it solves a problem for new players; almost every day I help 2-3 players to know where the games are and how to join/create.
But imho the Chat should be a bit bigger, and the User list should stay docked to the right.

This is looking sleek. TTF fonts really bring it all together.

Can also put some status messages in there

I'm liking the more graphic heavy versions less now. I'd still like to provide it as I think it'd be better for noobies or mods with few games listed, but I don't know, I'm just not liking the layout. Maybe make the thumbnail bigger and put the text under it.

Interesting concepts. This can definitely bring more usability to the lobby, especially for popular games like YR and MO.

For the list, having columns could make it a bit clearer I think.

I think the "boxes" variant is too heavy.

The one with larger list items seems good too. Though somewhat empty - maybe it could use more information in the center.

Viewing the full list of players would be nice, could retain it as a hover-on if it can't be fitted into the list.

I feel it would be great for lower online count mods, as EJ said. If there's usually sub-10 games - it should look better I think.

Yep - in my last screenshots, there's an Eye icon to the right of the filters which changes between the views.

For the performance, how can we limit the maximum of map previews? If we have like hundreds of game room, say mental omega, the client might have a change to occupy more VRAM if naively showing all previews.
