We are building a starter guide for CSE students all over the world π.
This guide should be short, practical, and based on what you wish you knew in your 1st year.
β
What to include:
- Things you actually wish you had learned earlier.
- Opportunities you missed (internships, clubs, hackathons, open source, etc.).
- Tips that would save time for a first-year student.
- Resources (books, websites, communities) that truly helped.
β οΈ What NOT to include:
- Long essays (keep it short & impactful).
- Generic textbook material.
- Spam or self-promotion.
- Country/college-specific activities that are not useful for a global audience.
π Process:
- Open a PR with your contribution.
- A group of developers/maintainers will review.
- If it feels valuable for a global CSE student audience, it will be merged.
This is a chance to help the next generation of CSE students avoid the same mistakes and grab opportunities earlier π.
