Possibility to hide Site List for Single-instance deployments

The site list (while very useful to multi site deployments.), is bot that usefull to deployments with a single site, so pos 1.0 it might be worth tour time to make that list collapsible and possibly dedicate that space to global ellerts ( a summary of critical messages from all routers ( downed links, failed routing protocol session etc)). I realize this might be a lot of work which is why I suggested it for post 1.0. I would love to help but unfortunately my coding skills are just not there. If this does not belong under issues I would apreciate guidence on where to submit this

@BjarneNilsson We can look into some way to deal with single instance deployments. Maybe in the on-boarding process the user can select single instance and then will auto connect to the vyos instance and not have the other mult-site/multi-instance page. then once the user logs in it will go straight to the dashboard of the instance.

Definitely a change later down the road though. I don't have an ETA on this at all as we are trying to get all the features built in at the moment.

I think this issue is leaning more towards the global alerts thing: "summary of critical messages", "downed router links (e.g. health probes in WAN load balancing)", "failed routing protocol sessions", or even setting custom alerts (e.g. trigger alert when no traffic was detected within a timespan) ?

About the part related to single-instance deployments: in the future we can let the users choose between common profiles, which change the options which are directly visible tailored for the specific needs (e.g. "MSP", "Home", "Small business") could modify balance between simplicity or comprehensive.

It can get worked on at a later timestamp when all VyOS features are implemented indeed.
