Summary

  • replace the built-in Docusaurus Algolia theme integration with the official DocSearch v4 adapter
  • connect the existing Algolia index to Agent Studio using the configured agent ID
  • enable the default Ask AI side panel without custom styling

Why

This adds conversational, documentation-grounded answers directly alongside the existing Algolia search experience.

Validation

  • Docusaurus development server compiled successfully
  • verified the Search and Ask AI controls render locally
  • sent a real question through Agent Studio from 127.0.0.1
  • confirmed a complete response with related documentation sources
  • git diff --check passes

tested a few times and it worked for me. agree maybe we can fix the user interface a bit from the nav bar items misaligning, to repositioning the form icon (which looks like a chat), to quick questions, quick accessibility to ai companion, and exploring the algolia documentation for user interface improvements as well. happy to take a stab at the user interface if you want
