Hi. Is it possible to modify the plugin to get the button icon from assigned Keyboard Maestro macro?

This would be great. I often use this for KM Macros that toggle - so it would be great to be able to change the icon based on toggle state. If you don't have plans on adding new features to this... have you considered opening this up so other's can extend the functionality?

a distinction must be made between
"using the KM macro's icon as the default SD Action's icon when setting it up"
and
"toogling SD Action's icon based on something (a state) sended back from the KM macro"

First one may be possible and may be part of a next version of KMLink.

Second one is technically not possible.
If you want to dynamically toogle SD Action's icon from the associated KM Macro, you should use the official Keyboard Maestro Streamdeck Plugin.

KMlink :

• fast, simple and very flexible to set up on SD
• SD action can be deplace on SD, copy-paste, put on SD folder or SD page, play well with multiple Streamdecks...
• But made to trigger a defineded KM Macro only, without any other interactions

Official KM SD plugin :

• Can change SD Action's Icon (and title) from a dedicated KM Macro action
• But is row/column assigned, so no deplace, copy-paste, folder/page, multiple SD devices...
