Overview

Our Translation Portal can be found here: https://translate.dcc.ac.uk

The portal is based on the well-known Pootle open-source platform.

Getting started

  1. Anyone can create an account by clicking on the "Sign up as a new user" link.

  2. Request to be added to the DMPRoadmap translation project via the contact us form or by emailing the DMPRoadmap team on dmponline@dcc.ac.uk.

  3. Navigate to DMPRoadmap in the Projects list or practise translating on the Tutorial project if you wish.

  4. Choose your favourite language, then switch from Browse to Translate mode and translate away!

  5. Template (English) text is above, and the input box for its translation is below:

Tips

  • You can scroll through all the translations using CTRL+down (or CTRL+up)
  • You can increase the number of translation lines on screen by going to Settings -> Translation -> Number of Rows
