[BUG] Opening the monitoring webpage spams the browser with elevated pin prompts for the protected password

No other webpage does this, I assume it's refreshing every 5 seconds instead of waiting for the login.

It's difficult to even change browser tabs at this point.

The only way around it is to login to another site then all locked passwords will be autofilled for the next minute.

sorry, doesn't look I can do that directly due to the way the installer works:

Use dnscrypt-proxy binary packages from https://github.com/jedisct1/dnscrypt-proxy
Compiling and stripping required binaries using firmware building toolchain from asuswrt-merlin

I've updated to 2.6.8 @thuantran and it still occurs - does this include the latest dnscrypt-proxy code?

@Tyri0n Could you try replacing the binary manually? Refer to https://github.com/DNSCrypt/dnscrypt-proxy/wiki/Installation-linux. Temporarily run an instance on Windows can also help.

Btw. how did you get the blank monitoring webpage without logging in first?

sorry, I didn't make it clear - it's when opening a browser and it reopens the previous open tabs, usually after a reboot.

I can confirm that the artifact version is a successful fix after testing on Windows - it shows the pin prompt just once.
