We don't need to be capitalizing "Community" and "Collection" in the user interface unless they are at the beginning of a sentence or in a title, header, or bread crumb. They are not proper nouns and they look out of place when capitalized.

+1, thanks @alanorth , I agree this makes the English more consistent. Almost all references to "item" and "bitstream" use lowercase when not beginning a sentence, and they are even more fundamental "DSpace terms" that appear in messages

We don't need to be capitalizing "Community" and "Collection" in the user interface unless they are at the beginning of a sentence or in a title/header. They are not proper nouns and look out of place.
