I did an experiment to see how much I remembered from my classes. I used Python to build out the calculations and Streamlit to save time on rendering the results. What I ended up with is cool to me because I always wondered how it would all work together. The app is called Portfolio Analytics Lab and it was a joint effort between myself and AI, 20% 80% respectively to be exact. I really can’t take any credit for it except to say that working through the bugs was a nightmare and I still don’t know if it made me a better programmer. However, I did enjoy the opportunity to be able to do it because 5 years ago for me, it was not possible.
