DeaDBeeF not being recognized as a media player (KDE Plasma)

After the new DeaDBeef update KDE not recognize it as a media player (worked just fine before) and all my global keys don't work, I see out-of-the-box support for MPRIS, I tried removing the previous MPRIS plugin but it still isn't recognized on the widgets.

Any idea/help would be most welcome!

Can you check whether the MPRIS plugin is present in deadbeef plugin list?

Also please post the info -- which version you're running, how did you install -- official build or not.

yeah I downloaded it from the aur, didn't remember, installed it now from the official site to the newest version, everything works perfect, sorry for the trouble and thanks for the extremely quick replies!!!

unfortunately, after reboot same thing as before, not recognized as a media player :( mpris plugin is present in the list and it loaded without error
