PvtPpr (Private Paper) is a completely client-side, serverless publishing system invented in 2018. It lets anyone create rich, self-contained digital “newspapers,” articles, blogs, memos, journals, or full personal Newschains: all stored inside a single shareable link (hashlink) with no server or account required.
Everything lives in the URL itself using the itty.bitty compression format (or self-hosted/local nodes). It is a privacy-by-default “HTML/JS data blockchain” where each link is its own immutable, printable, embeddable page.
You type content → add images/videos/audio/links/NFTs/ads/navbars/Bittube monetization → click “submit” → get a long but fully functional link.
Anyone who opens the link sees the exact page you built. No hosting. No database. No tracking.
You can link one PvtPpr to another to build a Newschain: a decentralized personal publication that works like a blog or newspaper you fully own.

- You fill in title, subject, body + optional extras (images, videos, BTC address, previous link, navbar, ads, etc.).
- The page compresses everything (HTML + your text + embeds) using LZMA + Base64.
- It produces a huge but usable link (e.g.
https://itty.bitty.site/#Title/...long-data...). - When someone clicks the link, they ask the public node-like-servers for a generic decrypting key, then the browser can decode and render the full interactive page.
- You can chain them: each new PvtPpr can link back to the previous one → forming your personal Newschain.
Note on Infrastructure: Many public itty.bitty nodes have disappeared. Most generators still work perfectly if you run a local Itty Bitty v1 node (or use the included offline HTML files). Shortened TinyURLs add convenience but reduce privacy.

- Clone or download the repository.
- Open any
.htmlfile directly in your browser (works completely offline). - Fill in the fields and click the big submit button.
- Copy the generated hashlink and share it anywhere.
- To build a Newschain, use the “Previous PvtPpr” field to link them together.
Pro tip: Run a local Itty Bitty v1 decoder node for maximum privacy and reliability.
🚧 Active since 2018: Still in active creative development
- Many generators are mature and fully usable.
- Some experimental files (LSW, iPvtPpr, PIP) are works-in-progress with TODOs and commented code: normal for rapid invention.
- Public hosting nodes have largely vanished; the system shines when used locally or self-hosted.
- Infrastructure challenges are real, but the core idea (entire publication in one link) remains extremely powerful and unique.
Contributions, bug reports, local-node improvements, visual redesigns, or help restoring IPFS endpoints are all very welcome!
