Extra space must be provided to allow for printing variations. This space increases or decreases linear with magnification of symbol.

Placing requirements

• The barcode must be no closer than 8 mm to a seam or packaging fold
• For small cylindrical products, the barcode must be positioned vertically (ladder orientation)
