Dataset ensemble tag required for 'monitor/multi_datasets.py'?

Hi ESMValTool community,

I was working with the trying to use the monitor/multi_datasets.py script to get side by side plots of two similar runs with ICON, it flagged an error at the plotting part stating the following:

But i don't have or require a ensemble key for for loading ICON data sets (I followed loading here), attached is the recipe and plotting log, should I do something different?

You need to specify a custom plot_filename in your diagnostic script options, the default one uses {plot_type}_{real_name}_{dataset}_{mip}_{exp}_{ensemble}.

Example:

ESMValTool/esmvaltool/recipes/monitor/recipe_monitor_with_refs.yml
