Prepare for Change - Upcoming Evergreen Changes

I'm getting ready to release a new version of Evergreen that will seperate the application functions from the module. This will require changes to how the module is used: https://stealthpuppy.com/evergreen-change-2025/

I am hoping to push a new version in the next week. I can update this thread with a date in a few days.

I've published a beta version of the new module features with 2510.2802.0-beta.

Install in Windows PowerShell with:

Install-Module -Name Evergreen -AllowPrerelease

And PowerShell 7+ with:

Install-PSResource -Name Evergreen -Prerelease

Note that this introduces a major breaking change, requiring you to run Update-Evergreen before using in your scripts etc.:

I'm going to push a new version of Evergreen, that will make this feature live, to the PowerShell Gallery on Wednesday 8th October, 10:30am AEST.

2510.2805.0 is now live, so update your scripts to call Update-Evergreen before using other Evergreen functions.
