During setup, WhisperMac asks the user to grant microphone permissions in System Settings. However, on my work-managed Mac, the Microphone privacy panel does not provide a way to manually add apps.
It seems WhisperMac would need to actively request microphone access through the standard macOS permission prompt, similar to how Zoom does it:
“zoom.us would like to access the Microphone.”
Once the user grants access through that prompt, macOS adds the app to the list of allowed apps in the Microphone settings.
Would it be possible to add an active microphone permission request during setup or before the first recording attempt?
