Sims 1 on iMac = laggy

Hi! Thanks for making this amazing patcher. It runs fine on my imac. The only problem is… it lags really bad on community lots (speed 2 or 3, 1 is fine) or my home lot when a lot of pets are on the lot. I tried everg resolution but its still very laggy. I understand an imac is a very big screen but atm on community lots in speed 2/3 its almost unplayable and the frame rate drops down.

Is there any fix to this problem? Maybe a windowed mode?

Oh by the way. I installed the most recent version of the patcher. But with the older version i still have this problem!
