I recently started a playthrough where I wanted to slowly add more expansions to recreate the original release of the game and its expansions. Unfortunately, I'm unable to apply the widescreen patch after installing Livin' It Up and applying nocd exe
The difference between this and other cracks is that this one consists of both Sims.exe and Sims.icd. With it applied I can run the game no problem, but the widescren patcher claims it can't be patched.
EDIT: Same thing happens when trying to patch the game while House Party is installed. The cracked/nocd Sims.exe is applied and the game launches without any issues, but the widescreen patcher says that the game can't be patched.
EDIT2: I can confirm that the patcher works on crack/nocd Sims.exe files for the base game, deluxe edition, expansions from Hot Date to Makin' Magic and Complete Collection. For some reason it doesn't work only for Livin' It Up and House Party.
EDIT3: I'm pretty sure the cracks I'm using aren't already patched to any custom resolution. When they are applied the game runs in 800x600 resolution.
