[Feature Request]: Dashboard requesting data over server

I would like for the integration to fetch the Data via the Home Assistant Host Server instead of over the client.

I have a weird edge case. I run a Dashboard Android Tablet and want not to expose it to the internet as I don't want Google or anyone else to destroy it with an update or send analytics.
The tablet uses Fully Kiosk to access my dashboard with the db_infoscreen. Unfortunately, when I deactivate the internet access to the tablet (via router parental control) the integration brakes and I get nothing displayed anymore. On any other device that has internet access it works fine.
Is it possible to fetch the data over the home assistant server?

In theory that should already be possible since the data is being fetched on the Homeassiant server, not the client that accesses the dashboard. In general all integrations fetch their data from the server and not from the client.

Can you tell me a bit more about your setup so I fully understand your request?

HA Server -> You added this integration there
Tablet with HA App -> you are using the local HA Server IP Adresse here to access your HA Server

But still only your tablet is not able to display the DB data? That sounds be a bit strange.

Or are you using your tablet as some kind of HA Server and your "server" does not have access to the Internet?
If second is the case for you then this does not work, since the DB data comes from a public Internet API. The only workaround would be then:

1. Use a second server/device as a HA Server
2. Or install db_infoscreen server only on a second local server (which has Internet access) and then let this integration fetch the data from your other local db_infoscreen server

My Setup:
Home Assistant OS on Raspberry Pi 4
Wall Display Tablet with Fully and accessing HA Server Locally.
Parental Control Blocking all internet access for the tablet.

I fixed the issue together with google gemini. So, in the very unlikely event, that someone has the same problem.

The issue was not with this integration but with the dependencies of the public-transport-departure-card I am using to visualize.

I fixed it by disabling parental controls and using a custom filter rule on adguard home to allow unpkg.com and block everything else

with 192.168.8.193 being the tablet and 192.168.8.0/24 the local subnet
