Is there any reason this specific combo isn't supported? Or just that nobody ever looked more closely into JsonUnwrapped + JsonTypeInfo combos that could be made to work?

Now, it's not that I need this, but it would have been nice for my use case (generic message envelope wrapping a number of possible messages). And seeing that we have a discussion board here, I thought I could just bring it up.

@HenryLoenwind Structurally it seems unlike to be workable -- not just for EXTERNAL_PROPERTY but @JsonTypeInfo more generally. Partly due to complex hack of @JsonUnwrapped implementation; interaction @JsonTypeInfo needs b/w Value- and Type[De]Serializers.
But I guess other inclusion mechanisms (WRAPPER_ARRAY, WRAPPER_OBJECT) wouldn't make much sense either.

Still. If someone did want to prove me wrong, I wouldn't stand in the way.
